The Rupee Project

The outdated five rupee note having a photograph of Khojak tunnel in Balochistan sparked my imagination to travel to places in Pakistan that are printed on contemporary currency notes. It was kind of a bucket list for me. Starting in 2010, the currency notes took me to places for a photograph from a 5000-year-old civilisation on a twenty rupee note (Mohenjo-daro) to K2, the second highest mountain in the world on a 50 Rupee note. My aim was to photograph and map all the locations.
